Texas is the Reason’s reunion hits St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit

(Sept. 19, 2025)- After a long hiatus, followed by a few reunions, Texas is the Reason is back on the road and made a stop at St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit. The post-hardcore pioneers have a dedicated following, which was proven at the show.

Texas is the Reason followed opening acts Slow Joy and Ted Leo. Slow Joy’s debut album came out this year, and it was clear the crowd was a big fan of it. Ted Leo captivated the crowd as well, performing a few songs solo from his band Ted Leo and the Pharmacists.

The anticipation of Texas is the Reason was worth the wait, with many fans at the front row headbanging and singing the words to every song. Both the band and the crowd were super energetic, bouncing off each other’s energy.
