ListenUp! Long Island hosted their 2025 Summer Block Party at 89 North in Patchogue. The event is a Long Island music and arts festival to celebrate community, local artists, musicians, and businesses. 

The summer block party reflected a nostalgic summer night featuring lots of Hawaiian shirts, live music, great food, cold drinks, live painters, and beer pong. It was a full day of music starting at 5 and ending at 12 a.m. 89 North was a perfect venue for a summer night, featuring an indoor food truck with pizza, tacos, and appetizers, with an outdoor patio with games. 15 local businesses attended with vendor tables, as well as a photo booth and a LED robot. 

The local musicians and bands included DJ Jokr, Atlantic’s End, Victoria Said, Purely Green, Mr. Rooster, Sound Creation Station, VooDoo Van Jam, Moxie Poe, IRIEspect, and Ramener. 

ListenUp! Is a multimedia platform creating opportunities and exposure for the local arts scene with a goal of building community. Hosting their own podcast, they interview artists, businesses, and bands, as well as share upcoming events throughout Long Island. They host seasonal music festivals highlighting local music.

The next ListenUp! Event is their Halloween Festival which will be taking place on October 11.
