Praise The Lords Tour storms the stage at the Rockhouse in El Paso with Lords Of Acid

Bringing debauchery and mayhem to the southwest this week, Lords of Acid rolled into town picking up a few people along the way for their tour. The “Praise the Lords” tour line up included Little Missy Nasty from Los Angeles, Lucia Cifarelli from New York City, and alleykat from Las Vegas. This powerhouse of entertainment was worth every minute as the nearly sold-out crowd filed in to listen, dance, and cheer for every musician that hit the stage.

First up was alleykat, coming in from Las Vegas for the final leg of the tour. She is a killer DJ which brought a very cool rave feel to the night. She had some strong thumping beats and a great mix, making the room ready for a great night of dancing. She got the crowd worked up for the rest of the night. Dressed in a nun’s headpiece and black fishnet top with devil’s horns on her head, she rocked the look of a gothic nun, topping it off with blood red lipstick.

alleykat has multiple virtual albums, the current one is Just Press Play. She can be found on all streaming services and has a catalog of songs that are endless. Here – check out her links to hear some awesome progressive house music: WEBSITE | INSTAGRAM

Lucia Cifarelli, a New York City-born musician, has made her name as the female singer for the singing duo of industrial band KMFDM. This year, she has decided to branch out into a solo career. She was asked to jump on the “Praise the Lords” tour midway with Little Miss Nasty and headliner Lords of Acid.

She hit the stage with a fierce magnetic energy that drew the crowd in, and before the end of her first song, heads were bobbing, bodies jumping, screaming, and chanting for more from the crowd. She had drawn everyone into her web of fire. Her lyrics were strong and to the point – direct. The girl from the big city was proving her worth as a solo artist. No one left the front of the stage – if anything, the crowd grew as she gave them more. She opened with Girls Like Me from her 2021 album I Am Eye, followed up with To Be Alive from the same album. Then she introduced a song from her latest album NO GOD HERE, released in 2024,Believe.” Her set was short, about seven songs, but they all showed her power to sing and produce on her own, as well with her husband and co vocalist from KMFDM, Sascha Konietzko.

Little Miss Nasty from Los Angeles, California, isn’t a burlesque show or a metal show or even something you would find in a seedy club in Los Angeles. It is a performance that screams rebellion and empowerment, with its dark fetish dominance ringing through with each song and performance piece. Starting out as an underground performance at the famous LA Viper Room, the idea was to bring a sensually charged experience full of empowerment, eroticism, and otherworldliness with dancers, aerialists, contortionists, and short skits all wrapped around songs by artists like Korn, NIN, Slipknot, and others. These girls have pipes, too. They sing and dance; they are not one dimensional by any means.

Clad in leather, lace, and crosses over their nipples, these girls jump on stage and give you an awe-inspiring, action-packed performance that is non-stop from the beginning to the end. The themes of each song range from fetish schoolgirl to nuns. They have water topped drums splashing the audience, and candlesticks – well, you get the idea. The roles switch from bad girls to good girls throughout the night.

Little Miss Nasty’s debut album, Weapon Of Choice, released in 2024, has firmly established them as a legitimate recording artist with highly produced, impactful songs that do not shy away for the notion of female empowerment. With songs like “Liquid Stars,” “Buried in Sin,” andBad Girls Romance,” they bring their message through each song.

Lords of Acid, the iconic Belgian rock group from the ’90s, has never shied away from controversy and racy lyrics. You do what you get to do to keep the audience excited. This acid rock, techno, industrial dance band brings themes of sexuality, drug use, and hedonism.  Over the years, they have had many lead vocalists, but have recently acquired the famous former singer for Butcher Babies, Carla Harvey, who broke off from the Butcher Babies to start her own band. But when asked to front Lords of Acid, she could not turn down an opportunity to tour with her childhood idols. She was able to jump right in and bring the band the breath of fresh air that they needed as they quickly approach 40 years of music just a few years from now.

The band entered the stage to cheers and shouting before the music started, as they opened with their title cut from their 1994 album, Voodoo-U. When the blue haired leather-clad Carla Harvey ran on stage, the almost full capacity crowd went wild. The cheering and shouting didn’t stop until long after the two encore songs finished.

The band played all the fan favorites, from Rubber Dolls – while blow up rubber dolls were passed across the audience to toss around like beach balls – to Pussy,” where they invited fans to come up on stage and sing. They even performed their first hit from 1988, “I Sit on Acid.”

They wrapped up the night with two encore songs, Crablouseand Out Comes the Evil,” clearly showing early on that Carla Harvey won the show over with the band Praga Khan, original member and keyboardist; Galen Waling, drummer; Dietrich Thrall, bassist; Creighton Emrick, guitarist. As they are wrapping up this tour to sold-out crowds across the U.S., they will end their tour in Los Angles with a heart-pounding, fresh beginning for the legends of acid rock, Lords of Acid
