Just last weekend, I got to witness the amazing Gigi Perez up close. I’d only heard her name from friends, and I was super excited to see her. She came out with her guitar and just owned the stage from start to finish. She was accompanied by two lovely bass and guitarists and a drummer. I was blown away by her voice, which was both soft and powerful to listen to. I can definitely see why Hozier picked her as an opener – he definitely has that big voice, and having someone with similar vocal range is a good fit for the first artist to take stage. It was a truly wonderful show from start to finish.
