British pop powerhouse Mimi Webb just announced her next chapter. The 24-year-old’s sophomore album, Confessions, is set for release on September 12 via Epic Records. Along with the news comes the release of her latest single, “Love Language,” an electrifying single that kicks off this new era with a new, fresh sound.
For Mimi, “Love Language” marks more than just a song – it’s a turning point. “’Love Language’ is my first step into this new era and I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous or excited to share a piece of music.” she says. “The sound and aesthetic around it is so new and different for me and I can’t wait to bring people along for this new creative journey.”
The official “Love Language” music video, directed by Bradley&Pablo, dropped Tuesday, June 10.
Her upcoming album Confessions is shaping up to be her most personal work yet. Written between Los Angeles and London, the project reflects real growth, not just as an artist, but as a person. “I decided to be brutally honest,” Mimi shares. ” It’s easy to be like, ‘Everything is wonderful’—even when there’s so much happening behind the curtain. I wanted to open up and scream, ‘This is who I am!’” The album is an honest and empowering journey through love and self-discovery, without losing the infectious pop energy that’s always defined her music.
Her latest single “Love Language” comes on the heels of her collaboration with Meghan Trainor, “Mind Reader,” a single that lit up timelines earlier this year. Now, with her sophomore album on the horizon, it’s clear that Mimi is leaning all the way in. Blending her signature pop hooks with raw emotion and fearless self-expression.
After a milestone year in 2024 that saw her performing on arena stages across the U.K. and Europe with the Jonas Brothers, joining Benson Boone on his U.S. tour, and hitting major festivals like Governors Ball and Lollapalooza, Mimi Webb is entering her next chapter with nothing held back.
