Explore Bergenfest 2025: The biggest festival of Norway’s west coast!

Join Bergenfest at Bergenhus Fortress from June 11-14, 2025, for an unforgettable lineup of 60 artists across five stages!

Bergenfest is back for another year at Bergenhus Fortress, for one of the biggest events of the year, with up to 9,000 people each day!

The festival is now running with five stages, two of which is outdoors and three indoors. The two outdoor stages are: “Plenen,” which is the main stage with a capacity of 9,000, and next to it is “Bastionen” with a capacity up to 3,000 people. This is, of course ,where you will find the main acts, and with the stages so close to each other there is no overlapping between them.

For the indoor stages you have ‘Magic Mirrors,’ which is a art nouveau-inspired spiegeltent with a capacity of 1,000 people. “Hjertebank Scenen” is the same concept but a tad smaller with a capacity of 600. These stages are the best place to be if you wanna discover new music and artists, as there’s a lot of good artists playing these stages.

If you need a little break from the hectic nature of music festivals, there’s one performance each day at “Haakonshallen,” which is a more than 750-year-old historic stone building. This is a seated venue with space for around 400 people.

There are around 60 artists on this years lineup, an increase from previous years. With everything from known international names to popular Norwegian artists, as well as smaller up and coming artists, there is something for almost everyone!
