Nate Amos, known for his project This Is Lorelei as well as being half of experimental indie group Water From Your Eyes, has released the title track single, “Holo Boy,” off of his new LP releasing on Dec. 12.

Amos has solidified himself as one of my favorite artists in the alternative sphere, with This Is Lorelei‘s Box for Buddy, Box for Star being one of my favorites of 2024 and featuring collaborations with artists like MJ Lenderman, Snail Mail and Waxahatchee. Amos later released It’s a Beautiful Place as part of Water From Your Eyes with co-member Rachel Brown, which was one of the most acclaimed—and one of my personal favorite—albums of 2025.

The new album, Holo Boy, is a collection of tracks throughout the years of Amos as a musician. Holo Boy features 10 re-recorded versions of songs from nine different releases written from 2014 to 2021. Amos discussed that these songs were specifically chosen to demonstrate his growth, musical talent, and significance to him over the years. The title-track single, “Holo Boy,” attests to that and is a wonderfully playful and musically engaging track.

Holo Boy Track List:
