On November 28, 2025, The All-American Rejects released their brand new single “Get This,” which features several different holiday movies in the music video. When you watch the video, what movies did you notice? “Get This” has lyricism that, if you listen carefully, sounds like someone wishing for the perfect holiday with another person, which is likely why they included the Christmas movie elements in the video. I feel like the movies they chose have a deeper meaning. I don’t want to give it away, but watch the video and analyze the lyrics. You will notice that the single and the music video not only express gratitude but also pose the question: at the end of the day, is revenge necessary, or should you just move on?
The bands new album Sandbox will be released in spring of 2026! Pre-order here!
“Little hooks will sit in your pockets like a lead weight that won’t shake out in the dryer. ‘Get This’ was a song born on a drive. It was made in the sunshine on the back porch of our family home. Pure fun like the company it was written around.” – Tyson Ritter
