Kicking things off was Cory Marks, who brought a grounded, heartfelt energy to the stage. His blend of rock and country elements fit seamlessly into the acoustic setting, giving the audience a warm introduction to the night. Marks’ rich vocals and easy rapport with the crowd made his set feel honest and engaging! A strong and fitting lead in to Sevendust’s intimate approach.

Stage AE transformed into something completely different this past Monday! A fully seated, acoustic setting where Sevendust traded distortion and their signature sound for warmth, vulnerability, and connection. The atmosphere in Pittsburgh was electric in a softer, more intentional way; the room buzzed with anticipation long before the first chord. Even in an acoustic setting, the band’s energy filled every corner of the venue, and their interaction with the crowd made the night feel less like a concert and more like a shared experience between friends.
Sevendust approached the acoustic setting with total confidence and charm. Their chemistry as a band was on full display, and without the usual wall of amps, their personalities and musicianship took center stage. Between songs, they joked with the audience, teased each other, and created a relaxed atmosphere that made Stage AE feel smaller in the best way.
The unplugged arrangements gave new dimension to their catalog. Vocals sat front and center, harmonies rang clear, and the instrumentation felt thoughtful and intentional. Fans hung onto every moment; not with the frantic energy of a heavy show, but with a deep, focused appreciation.
Sevendust’s acoustic night at Stage AE wasn’t just a concert; it was a shared experience. The seated setup, the stripped down arrangements, and the band’s commitment to making the night personal all combined into something truly memorable. For longtime fans, it was a rare chance to hear familiar songs in a new light. For newcomers, it was an introduction to the heart of who Sevendust is.
Either way, Pittsburgh got something special! A warm, intimate, and unforgettable performance that showcased the band’s depth, talent, and connection with their audience. What a special moment to be apart of!
I recommend seeing them live if they’re in your city. You don’t want to miss it!
