The release arrives as Cardi B celebrates a major moment in her career. Her single “Outside” has been nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards. The track is the lead single from her Platinum-certified second album AM I THE DRAMA?, and the nomination adds yet another milestone to an artist who has already rewritten hip hop history more than once.

AM I THE DRAMA? debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart for seven straight weeks. With that, Cardi became the first female rapper ever to have her first two albums open at the top spot. The album also delivered the biggest week of 2025 for an R&B and hip hop release by a woman and hit RIAA Platinum faster than any album in history, reaching one million units in under a day. Her Walmart partnership helped fuel two Guinness World Records, and the project dominated Apple Music with “Dead” featuring Summer Walker, “Magnet,” and “Safe” featuring Kehlani, each hitting No. 1 on the platform’s Top Songs chart.

Cardi is taking the chaos on the road with her first ever U.S. arena tour, “The Little Miss Drama Tour,” which kicks off February 11 in Palm Desert, California. Additional dates in New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles were added after immediate fan demand. Tickets are available now at CardiB.com.

To celebrate the album’s release, Cardi headlined a special Apple Music and TikTok live event, dropped a Washington Heights “Bodega Baddie” pop up for fans, and teamed up with DoorDash to deliver signed merch and curated favorites through The Cardi Bodega. She also appeared on “CBS This Morning with Gayle King,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “TODAY With Jenna and Friends,” “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” and “The Breakfast Club,” along with landing high profile looks on the covers of Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop Power Players issue and Paper Magazine.

Cardi B’s career is still one of the most dominant forces in modern music. She is the highest certified female rapper on the RIAA’s Top Artists digital singles list with more than 100 million certified units and three Diamond singles. Her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, remains one of the most successful hip hop albums ever released. Every track on the project is now certified at least Platinum and the album features the historic Diamond single “Bodak Yellow.” Across a long list of achievements, Cardi has earned ten GRAMMY nominations, a GRAMMY win for Best Rap Album, multiple Billboard Music Awards, eight Guinness World Records, multiple ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Awards, and several BET, VMA, and American Music Awards. She has also been honored by TIME, Entertainment Weekly, and Billboard for her cultural impact.

Cardi continues expanding her legacy with her sophomore album AM I THE DRAMA? and its expanded editions. With “The Little Miss Drama Tour” finally on deck, it is shaping up to be another historic year for one of the most influential artists of her generation.
