20 year-old rising star Sabrina Sterling has returned with a brand new single “Eventually,” and you may need to grab the tissues for this one. “Eventually” is a deeply personal track she wrote during one of the most difficult times in her life, and it doesn’t hold back.
“I wrote this song about how I wanted to end my life but was scared to do it because I didn’t want to hurt the person I loved most,” Sabrina says. “I hope you find comfort in it. You’re not alone.”
This release comes just weeks after the release of her single “An American Crime,” which was released alongside an 8-minute short film shot in New York City. Available for viewing on YouTube, the short film tells a story of the backlash Sabrina received after the release of her debut EP Ramona, a project that digs deep on growing up, letting go, and speaking her truth.
At only 20, Sabrina Sterling is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new voices in music, crafting songs that make listeners feel seen, understood, and a little less alone in their struggles in a world full of hatred.
Eventually is out now on all streaming platforms, listen HERE.
