Max McNown announces “The Cost of Growing Up” tour set for Spring 2026

Following a packed year of sold-out shows, Max McNown has announced his Spring 2026 headline run, “The Cost of Growing Up Tour,” set to kick off March 20 in Charlotte, NC.

The 20+ date tour will bring Max’s signature storytelling and heartfelt performances to stages across the U.S., including his long-awaited debut at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, which sold out immediately upon on-sale. Due to overwhelming demand, a second Ryman show has been added for April 2. The run also includes his first-ever performance at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA, and three Florida dates supporting Parker McCollum.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 7 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can access early tickets and exclusive VIP packages during Max’s artist presale, beginning Tuesday, November 4 at 10 a.m. local. Presale sign-up and full tour details are available at maxmcnown.com/tour.

McNown has also installed a very commendable and refreshing ticketing policy that prioritizes fans and deters resellers and ticket scalpers. For shows ticketed through Ticketmaster, the Face Value Exchange will be enabled, allowing fans to resell tickets only at the original purchase price. To protect the Exchange, these shows will be mobile-only and non-transferable, except where prohibited by local law.

“The Cost of Growing Up Tour” follows McNown’s Fall 2025 “Forever Ain’t Long Enough Tour,” which sold out more than 30 shows across North America and continues with upcoming dates across Ireland, the U.K., and Europe this December. The tour takes its name from McNown’s expanded sophomore album, Night Diving (The Cost of Growing Up) — a deeply personal, 21-track collection praised for its emotional depth and vivid songwriting.

At just 24, McNown is capping off a milestone year marked by record-breaking success. His breakout single “A Lot More Free” recently earned Platinum certification, while “Better Me For You (Brown Eyes)” — the lead track from his latest album — was certified Gold. Together, the songs have surpassed 500 million streams worldwide, propelling McNown to his first Top 10 at Adult Pop Radio and continued crossover success at Country and Top 40 formats.

2025 has also seen McNown make his debut at major festivals including Lollapalooza, CMA Fest, Boston Calling, and C2C, alongside his first television appearances on The Kelly Clarkson Show and The TODAY Show. For a full list of dates and ticket information, visit MaxMcNown.com.
