Charlie Puth announces Whatever’s Clever! – A new era begins with “Changes”

A collaboration with acclaimed producer BloodPop, “Changes” is Puth at his most uplifting – weaving together irresistible hooks, timeless piano melodies, and heart-on-sleeve lyrics that capture growth and reinvention. He’s already received critical praise – Rolling Stone calls it a “potential hit single” that lands “somewhere between Eighties Steve Winwood and Jackson’s Human Nature.”

The video for Changes cheekily nods to a pre-digital era, complete with a cameo from Puth’s wife Brooke Sansone. It’s a celebration of both personal and creative evolution through time and a glimpse into the new sonic universe Puth is crafting.

Fans recently were able to catch Puth live during his Blue Note residencies in New York and Los Angeles, where he’s been performing intimate sets to sold-out crowds alongside surprise guests like Babyface, Jimmy Jam, and Anthony Ramos.

Listeners can stream Changes here and pre-order Whatever’s Clever! ahead of its March 2026 release.
