Rock am Ring 2026: Sold out in record time!

Germany’s legendary sister festivals are back for another year with a stacked lineup!

After the sold-out anniversary year in 2025, with a production that set new groundbreaking standards in light and sound design, Rock am Ring continues its success with an incredible lineup for 2026. The first round of bands was announced on September 23, and within two weeks, all 90,000 weekend tickets were gone. This is the earliest the festival has ever sold-out, marking a historic milestone and showing the unwavering loyalty and enthusiasm of the fans.

“Selling out in record time – that’s an incredible sign of appreciation from our community and makes us incredibly grateful,” says Matt Schwarz, organizer of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.

Lineup

Linkin Park was the first band to be announced as a headliner earlier in the year, and with the band selling out stadiums across Germany and around Europe, they are for sure a massive crowd draw this year! This will be the band’s first time back at Rock am Ring since 2014, and the first time with their new lineup.

Other notable names on the lineup include Limp Bizkit, Babymetal, Bad Omens, Volbeat, Iron Maiden, Papa Roach, Architects, and more! While already an impressive lineup, there are still plenty of bands and artists yet to be announced, and from looking at previous years, there will not be a shortage of great music to catch! Expect around 100 bands across four stages throughout the weekend, so be prepared to get your steps in if you plan to catch artists on different stages.
