The all-star hard rock collective BLACK SWAN — featuring Robin McAuley (McAuley Schenker Group), Reb Beach (Winger, Whitesnake), Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, The End Machine, ex-Dokken), and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr. Big) — have unleashed their powerful new single “The Fire and The Flame,” accompanied by an official visualizer. The single is out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

Frontman Robin McAuley describes the track as “a powerful idiom and metaphor often found in religious literature and pop culture, signifying a divine power, but also an insight into one’s personal struggles and perseverance. Fire can be seen as a divine presence, while flame captures a passionate and never-ending devotion in the midst of one’s personal struggles. Fire and flame, combined, emphasize the overall challenging experience at its most intense aspects. A time for reflection and rebirth, perhaps?”

The idea for BLACK SWAN was born from a conversation between bassist Jeff Pilson and Serafino Perugino, President & Head of A&R at Frontiers Music Srl. Their shared vision was to build a project that would spotlight McAuley’s unmistakable vocals with a powerhouse instrumental lineup to match — and the chemistry was instant.

The band made their debut with Shake The World in 2020, a blistering slice of melodic hard rock and metal that established their unmistakable sound. Their 2022 follow-up, Generation Mind, solidified that identity with even greater energy and cohesion.

With “The Fire and The Flame,” BLACK SWAN once again delivers a masterclass in modern hard rock: fiery, soulful, and unrelenting.
