Rockstars Jack & Jack stopped by Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on October 12, 2025, on the “Symbiosis U.S. Tour.” The group, comprised of Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky, first hit the scene as internet sensations over a decade ago. They teamed up to start releasing music, quickly becoming known for their magnetic sound and charismatic energy. After releasing some of their most vulnerable work as newly independent artists earlier this year, fans were itching for a headline tour from the band. Boston was buzzing with excitement at the venue. Fans shared their meet-and-greet photos and complimented each other’s outfits, including an adorable Princess Peach costume.
Edwin Honoret kick-started the night with passionate artistry. He strutted out in a black sequined shirt and a silver fringe beaded shawl. He infused an ’80s charm into tracks like “Break The Tide,” with his smooth boyband-esque vocals charming the crowd while bouncy instrumentals propelled his set forward. His falsetto floated around the venue as fans danced to the groovy bassline of each song. He paused to chat with the audience between songs, letting his bubbly personality shine through when he held up a giant QR code that fans could scan to sign up for a chance to win free merch after the show.
Soon after, the room went dark, and fans released thunderous cheers. The lights flashed blue as Gilinsky hopped on stage in a fitted black tank top, sleek black pants, and loafers. He immediately mesmerized the audience with his powerful and velvety R&B sound. Johnson sauntered out soon after, sporting a backwards Red Sox hat and diving into his signature gritty rap verses.
Back in March, the guys sat down for an interview with The Concert Chronicles, where they revealed that this tour would give them the opportunity to weave “what’s to come for Jack & Jack” with “the taste of what made you fall in love in the first place.” They achieved this feat by performing fan favorite tracks from years ago, such as “Stuttering,” and new fan favorites like “Role Model.”
Johnson sat down at the keys and pulled back the curtain on what this tour, and its title, “Symbiosis,” means to them: “It’s two naturally occurring elements in nature that are, you know, they’re very different, but they’re codependent on each other to form a symbiotic relationship and to flourish and reach their prime. We’ve always seen that as an analogy for G and I, you know? We’re both very different people, as many similarities as we share, we’re different humans. And it’s important to us that Jack & Jack includes both Jacks because we know without one of the Jacks, it just does not work. The cool thing about this project is, there’s of course going to be a lot of Jack & Jack music, but there’s also going to be some G records, some records of mine, and it’s all going to live in the same world.”
Jack & Jack created a celebration of live music and community, fostering a space for unbridled joy. They shared moments in the spotlight and also highlighted their individual strengths by performing solo music, such as Gilinsky’s “baby blue.” Make sure to catch this duo live before the “Symbiosis U.S. Tour” ends in November.
