Music fans came to close out Stone Pony Summer Stage for an unforgettable night. This bittersweet evening marked the end of the season, yet it promised excitement with a star-studded lineup featuring Kami Kehoe, P.O.D., Daughtry, and Seether.
Kicking off the night was the talented rising star Kami Kehoe. From the moment she stepped onto the stage, it was clear that she was ready to leave her mark with her vocal range and girl power energy. The crowd was treated not only to her singing but also to a display of her drumming skills. It was a demonstration of her versatility as an artist, and she quickly became people’s new favorite female rock singer! This is just the beginning for Kami!
P.O.D.—a band that holds a special place in the hearts of many—took to the stage. For me, it was a full circle moment, having P.O.D. be the first band I photographed last year. They kicked off their set with the high-energy hits, and the night also featured a unique twist with their rendition of The Beatles’ classic “Don’t Let Me Down.”
Daughtry was ready to take the reins for the night’s co-headlining act. It felt like a massive sing-along with 7,000 friends, celebrating not just the music but connection. Daughtry’s performance was heartfelt, charged with emotion, and it was clear that he and the band were living in the moment with their fans.
To close out the summer season, Seether took the stage. Frontman Shaun Morgan’s performance was particularly noteworthy; while he stood stage right for much of the set, he made it a point to showcase his bandmates and foster a sense of teamwork up there. Seether’s ability to connect with the audience while delivering their classic hits made for a great finale.
The Stone Pony Summer Stage truly went out with a bang, and though the season has ended, the stories and music remain
