Rocklahoma has been around since 2007, and this year, they drew 77,000 people to celebrate Labor Day the best way possible. This is an incredibly big crowd, considering they usually get about 30,000 attendees per day during the three-day festival — but not this time.
Rocklahoma was a massive hit this year for Labor Day weekend—and I can see why. With a lineup that powerful, it’s no surprise they drew 77,000 fans to the festival. Some of the standout artists included Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Alice Cooper, and more. This year was packed with memorable moments, from Collier Cash to the amazing headliners, and Knocked Loose making the “Wall of Death” go viral. The festival always delivers great music and a huge crowd, and if you don’t want to forget it, be sure to check out the incredible photos.
This annual three day festival first kicked off in 2007, founded by Mark Nuessle. Ever since then, Rocklahoma has been rocking out year after year. The only time Rocklahoma was cancelled was in 2020 because of COVID-19.
If you’ve never been to Rocklahoma, I would definitely make it a top trip priority! Besides the amazing band lineup, there are so many more things that will make it worth your while. The Rocklahoma crew goes above and beyond with making sure the festival is safe and welcoming to anyone who steps onto the grounds. Here is another bonus – there is no age limit! So, if you can’t find a babysitter and don’t want to miss out, bring your child along and enjoy the experience!! Another thing to keep in mind – jumping around and singing your heart out can definitely work up an appetite! But don’t you worry your sweet little heart—Rocklahoma has you covered, bringing in local food vendors to keep you energized!
Seriously, start planning for next year now! I’m sure they will have an amazing lineup like they have had every single year!!
