Aminé brings the energy to the Masonic

As I walked into the venue, I noticed many fans were lined up to get merch before the opener started. I walked around the pit and saw that the floor was filled with fans early, many already draped in merch. The stage was made up of three walls, almost forming a box, and there were unique visuals projected throughout the show.

Aminé began his electric performance on stage at 9:00 p.m. Animations and lighting became a motif in Aminé’s performance, as some songs had extremely bright lights and kinetic animations, while others were dark with occasional flashes of light. The performance opened with performances of “Vacay” and “13MOS” off his new album 13 Months of Sunshine.

Aminé finished his performance at around 10:30 p.m., with a long list of hit songs from his discography, including “DR. WHOEVER,” “REEL IT IN,” “Spice Girl,” and “Caroline.” Aminé thanked his fans for coming and ran off stage. Then, the screen turned back on and read “Encore?” The audience became loud and boisterous, and Aminé ran back on stage to perform his final song, “Arc De Triomphe.”
