The air inside The Foundry was buzzing with anticipation on September 7, 2025, and as soon as Narcotic Wasteland hit the stage, it was clear this was going to be one to remember. Their headlining tour, “Annihilation of The Wasteland,” celebrates the 20th anniversary of their album The Nile: Annihilation of The Wicked. These guys definitely brought the vibes and enthusiasm. The crowd was full of energy that followed throughout the night. Narcotic Wasteland makes sure that you are immersed into the world they’ve created with their dark atmosphere, thunderous riffs, and growls that feel like they crawled up from the abyss in the best way. 

Each of the members brought something unforgettable to the stage. Dallas Toler-Wade, frontman and guitarist, commanded the crowd with ease, balancing the heaviness of their sound with an atmosphere that was powerful, engaging, and fun. Kenji Tsunami, the bassist—a master of his craft not just on bass but on the Chapman Stick as well—added a richness and depth to every song. Joseph Howard, drums and vocals, doesn’t just hold down a rhythm but does so with precision. When paired with his guttural vocals, it rose like something otherworldly throughout the room. The band Narcotic Wasteland is a true force to be reckoned with.

It was such a pleasure to review their performance and have a chance to meet with the members after the show was over. These guys have a true knack for what they do and their connection with their fans is such an inspiration.
