On August 29, 2025, country music legend Reba McEntire released a firey performance video for “Trailblazer (Live From Music City Rodeo),” which features surprise appearances from Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert. McEntire kicked off the sold-out inaugural event at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on May 29. She delivered “a beautiful version of the song” (Tennessean).

Written by Wilson, Lambert, and Brandy Clark, and produced by Tony Brown and McEntire, the song is a profound tribute to the innovative women of country music who paved the way for future generations. Now captured in a live video, the “unexpected collaboration was a true highlight of the night” (American Songwriter). The engaging performance—where “the crowd erupted in applause and screams” (Parade)—showcased soaring vocals, raw purity, and the fellowship of three trailblazing women, cementing “Trailblazer” as an anthem of grit, resilience, and the abiding power of women in country music. At the end of the performance, the three women joined hands in a compelling tribute, standing together as three generations of country music pioneers united in honoring the past, present, and future of the genre.
