Alessi Rose takes over main stage at Leeds Festival

On August 23, Alessi Rose played on Main Stage at Leeds Festival following Red Rum Club. Just last year, Alessi Rose performed on the BBC Introducing Stage, building up her popularity and fanbase very quickly to have such a successful appearance on Main Stage just a year later.

This early into the Saturday, many pink cowboy hats were swimming throughout the crowd in preparation for the Chappell Roan and Hozier joint headline. This being said, there were barely any people in the crowd not singing along to every song played. Both sections of the Main Stage field were filled with adoring fans, excited for her performance and staying for the entire setlist, not losing any passion throughout the entire time.

Set list:

Earlier in the year, Alessi Rose opened for Dua Lipa during her tour and high-profile Wembley Stadium concert. Bringing in a whole new audience, she has proved herself more than able to bring together a passionate and hype crowd.

Bristol Beakon describes her music as “characterized by raw lyrics, bold production, and a fiercely personal edge, blending alt-pop with themes of personal experience.”
