AUDIC EMPIRE – TORE IT UP! AT HAUTE SPOT

Sometimes, I really feel like I’m going to run out of ways to express myself in these articles, but I’m doing it. The music scene here in the Austin area is just so alive—it’s honestly hard to keep up. But the thing is, it’s also just really, really great. So when I sit down to talk about my experiences, it’s tough to find anything to say that isn’t positive, and honestly, I wouldn’t anyway, thankfully I don’t have to.

Living here, you’re also surrounded by an incredible variety of musical talent—bluegrass, country, blues, blues rock, metal, punk, and everything in between.

Audic Empire blends a lot of those genres to create a sound that’s entirely their own—and it’s brilliant.

I didn’t know what to expect since I hadn’t heard their music before, so it was all brand new for me. But man, they blew me away—literally and figuratively. From the moment they stepped on stage, they brought full-on energy, mixing up sounds in a way that kept me, and everyone else, excited about what was coming next. And they don’t hold back on the volume either! I personally love loud music, so that was a major plus. The band’s good vibes were also totally contagious—you can always see it in the crowd. I’m looking forward to going back just to catch a show and hang out.

Audic Empire is an independent, grassroots band and a total ball of fire. They write, record, and produce all of their original music out of a home studio that they built, paid for, and run themselves. Their sound is a unique blend of reggae, rock, country, pop, and alternative—genres that come together in a way that pull you in from start to finish. Whether you’re new to their music or a longtime fan, Audic Empire delivers a really great performance. So far, they’ve released four studio albums, which you can find on many of the streaming platforms. They are just straight-up fun.

Audic Empire consists of…

Ronnie Bowen – singer/songwriter/rhythm guitar

James Tobias – singer/songwriter/Bass

Travis Brown – Lead Guitar

Carver Ripley – Keys/Synth

Bobby Salazar – Saxophone

Kyle Ortiz – Drums
