Walking around the main plaza, I noticed a radio station booth set up outside the arena playing Keyshia Cole‘s classics. Around the booth were fans wearing all black outfits. As I entered the arena, I noticed all of the amazing photos and wallpapers from previous performances lining the hallways of the arena.
Keyshia Cole made her appearance, emerging from behind her heart-shaped platform. Cole wore a full white outfit, with the standout piece being a fluffy and feathery pair of pants. She started her performance with “Guess What?,” featuring Jadakiss. Following her appearance on stage, many performers came out with her, and choreographed dances accompanied the performance of the song.
Halfway through the setlist, Cole switched to a red version of her outfit. She would finish her performance wearing this red alternative and wear a red cape during the performance of her last song. Closing her set, the performers gathered around the phone booth on stage and questioned Cole, asking, “Where is ‘Love?’” and “I thought she was going to perform ‘Love.’” Keyshia Cole’s hit song, “Love“, started playing, and she walked through the sections, urging the fans to sing along with her. At the end of the song, heart-shaped confetti shot from the stage into the crowd.
Elijah Blake was the first opener of the show. Blake is best known for his song “I Just Wanna…” which has amassed over 63 million streams on Spotify.
Jeremih was the second opener and has gained over 17 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He took the stage wearing a bright pink robe that stood out from the black and white button-up shirt he wore under it. He performed hit songs, including “Planez,” featuring J. Cole, and “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” featuring YG.
Grammy-nominated artist Fridayy was the final opener of the night. His single “When It Comes To You” came out in 2023 and was his first song to enter Billboard’s Hot 100.
