Breakthrough singer-songwriter Jake Minch has unveiled his highly anticipated debut album George , out now via 2for2 projects/Mercury Records.

George finds the 22-year-old exploring grief, guilt, and identity all filtered through the lens of his complicated personal relationships. Named after his birth name, the album essentially feels like a coming of age, as he navigates the uneasy transition of growing up and moving on. The album holds 12 tracks, including standout singles “Fingers and Clothes” and “Drawing a Tattoo.” 

“George is about my two years in LA and my experience falling victim to my ‘middle-of-the-country-syndrome,’” says Jake. “It’s about being a martyr with nothing to die for and needing to fuck up some great things in order to see that.”

In support of the debut album, Jake will be hitting the road for a headlining tour with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Nashville, and more. The tour kicks off August 3 in Santa Ana, California, at the Constellation Room, before hitting 13 cities across North America and closing out August 28 in Brooklyn, New York, at Baby’s All Right.
