The Roots to play two special Bay Area shows ahead of The Black Radio Experience @ Blue Note Jazz Festival

Exciting news for lovers of Jazz – iconic and beloved band, The Roots, will be playing two special shows in Santa Cruz and Oakland at the end of August, kicking off the highly anticipated Black Radio Experience at the Blue Note Jazz Festival

The shows are going to be exciting, jam-packed, and special, bringing the audience The Roots they know and love. In Santa Cruz, on August 28, the band will be joined by The Soul Rebels and Goapele at the amazing Quarry Amphitheater, an eclectic open air-venue that’s built from an actual limestone quarry. And you won’t want to miss the next day in Oakland, on August 29, where they’ll be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their renowned debut album Do You Want More?!!!??! at the fitting and emblematic Henry J. Kaiser Center. This is an opportunity you’re going to want to take advantage of. After these two special experiences, The Roots will perform at the Blue Note Jazz Festival on August 30.
