The Heart Of Town: Grateful Dead’s 60th Anniversary

Heart of Town is a three-night show series from July 31 – August 2, 2025, presented by Relix and the San Francisco Giants playing live at Pier 48 in Mission Rock. San Francisco is the capital of psychedelia and the birthplace of many ’60s rock and roll bands like the Dead.

Heart of Town is hosting a full lineup of musicians which are rooted in the jam scene and are influenced by the sound of the 1960’s – the lineup includes Duane Betts, Grateful Shred, Dark Star Orchestra, Sam Grisman Project, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead amongst other all-star bands. The event kicks off Thursday, July 31, at 8 p.m. and will carry on through the evening of August 2. The Grateful Dead’s legacy still lives on even after 60 years and this concert series, alongside the three night Dead & Co shows in Golden Gate Park, will be a celebration of that 60-year legacy.

Hundreds of thousands of deadheads are flocking to San Francisco this summer to gather and honor the legacy which the Grateful Dead left behind. The Heart of Town is a Terrapin Station Entertainment production with a percentage of the proceeds supporting The Rex Foundation. There is a limited quantity of one- and three-day Terrapin Station Experience VIP packages which include a dedicated viewing area, a laminate, and a poster.
