Billy Morrison, the British guitarist, singer, and songwriter, has spent the last 15 years playing rhythm guitar for Billy Idol, sharing the stage with longtime lead guitarist Steve Stevens. Recently, he teamed up with Ozzy Osbourne and Stevens on the hard-hitting track “Crack Cocaine,” which climbed to No. 1 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart. Known for more than just his rock credentials, Billy’s latest venture, The Morrison Project, showcases Billy’s fearless creativity and passion for collaboration. Breaking boundaries—mixing genres and styles, to create music that’s fresh, bold, and completely unexpected. It’s a reflection of his drive to bring artists together and make something that doesn’t play by the rules.

On July 1, Morrison and Osbourne joined forces yet again for a stripped-down version of their orchestral hit “Gods of Rock N Roll” – available now across all streaming platforms. Produced and reimagined by Morrison, the new version replaces heavy guitars and drums with a more intimate arrangement featuring a bass track by Chris Chaney, orchestration by Fred Coury performed by a 57-piece orchestra, and a haunting acoustic guitar solo by Steven Stevens. The result is a stirring and sincere rendition that allows Ozzy’s distinct vocals to take center stage like never before.

Both versions of the track are available now as part of the limited-edition double A-side vinyl, released on July 4 via TLG|ZOID and distributed by Virgin Music Group.
