Standout vocalist Jessie Murph doubles down on emotional intensity with her latest release “Heroin,” track seven off her upcoming sophomore album Sex Hysteria. Known for her raw delivery and confessional songwriting, Jessie leans all the way in on this gut wrenching ballad about a love that feels more like a drug – dangerous, consuming, and impossible to quit.
“There’s a hitman shooting bullets at my mind…When you touch me he stops trying for a while,” she sings, capturing the temporary peace that only this toxic connection seems to bring. “I can’t stop, and I can’t run, and I can’t hide… like heroin, I’ll always come back to you.” It’s vivid, poetic, and devastating in its honesty.
Along with the release of “Heroin”, Jessie has also revealed the full tracklist for Sex Hysteria. The 15-track album features her latest hits “Blue Strips” and “Touch Me Like a Gangster,” both of which continue to climb the charts. The album also brings in two of Jessie’s dream collaborators: Gucci Mane on “Donuts” and Lil Baby on “Best Behavior.” With everything we’ve seen so far, Sex Hysteria is already looking like her biggest moment yet.
And don’t forget! Jessie is bringing this new era to life on the “Worldwide Hysteria” tour. The tour kicks off July 27 in Phoenix, AZ, wrapping up the U.S. leg on September 27 in Los Angeles, California. The tour will cover more than 30 cities across the United States before heading overseas for shows throughout Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Tickets and more information here.
