Fresh off a 28-city U.S. tour with CHVRCHES’ Lauren Mayberry, Cult of Venus will head to Europe this summer as main support for St. Vincent, hitting stages in Italy, Austria, the U.K., and Germany.
To mark the announcement, she’s also released the official video for her breakout single “Algorithm”—directed by Moody Dark Room and edited by Charlie Robins. With over 500,000 streams, the single has already made waves on BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM Alt Nation, KCRW, and 98.7 LA.
Her upcoming EP, via her own Liberty Belle Records, will pair social commentary with lush visuals created in collaboration with designer Sarah Schmitt (The Voidz, The Strokes). Cult of Venus’ blending of art, music, and activism is not new to her fans. Her upcycled merch line has raised thousands for organizations like the Women’s Prison Association, while her past work includes an artist residency at Riker’s Island women’s jail.
