Lil Wayne is back. The five-time GRAMMY® winner just dropped his long-awaited 14th studio album, Tha Carter VI, out now via Young Money/Republic Records. The 19-track project features a stacked lineup with appearances from Bono, Andrea Bocelli, Jelly Roll, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Kodak Black, and even his sons Kameron Carter and Lil Novi.
The album blends classic Wayne energy with surprising moments — like orchestral touches from Andrea Bocelli or sharp verses alongside Jelly Roll and MGK. It’s a celebration of his legacy, a nod to his roots, and a bold leap forward, all in one.
Wayne, who spent six years crafting the album, says: “Real art can’t be rushed… I’m just being myself. Sorry for the wait.”
To kick things off, Wayne headlined Madison Square Garden on June 6 and announced a nationwide “Carter VI” tour featuring Tyga, Belly Gang Kushington, and NoCap. Tickets are on sale now via LiveNation.com. Fans also got a first taste of the new track “The Days” (feat. Bono) during the June 5 NBA Finals broadcast.
Stay tuned for more, including a special hometown performance at this year’s Weezyana Fest.
