May 30, 2025 – Los Angeles, CA – Alt-rock legends 311 have just dropped 90s Throwback EP: Vol. 1 (Live From The Vault)—the first installment in a two-part series featuring unreleased live recordings from the band’s golden era. Released in anticipation of the 30th anniversary reissue of their iconic self-titled Blue Album, out July 11, this collection features performances captured during the original tour cycle for that landmark record.
Vol. 1 is now available on all major streaming platforms.
This high-voltage EP offers a raw and unfiltered snapshot of 311 in their prime, delivering three classic tracks pulled straight from beloved live sets:
- “Purpose”
- “Down” – Live in 1997 (Recorded in Portugal at Passeio Marítimo de Algés).
- “Feels So Good” – Live in 1996 (Recorded at the Santa Barbara Bowl, California).
The celebration continues with 90s Throwback EP: Vol. 2 (Live From The Vault), arriving June 27, and featuring even more rare recordings and stage energy:

The group has announced their 30th anniversary reissue of their iconic self-titled Blue Album. out July 11. featuring a 2-LP set with seven bonus tracks. It will be available in two color variants – a direct-to-fan exclusive citrine shade and retail release blue smoke color – via Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment. The reissue is 21 tracks on 2 LPs and brings together every song that was recorded by the band during the Blue Album sessions. It marks the first time the bonus songs have ever been released on LP.
