Just last week, independent pop singer-songwriter Alexander Stewart kicked off a new chapter with the release of his latest single, “Here Again,” his first release under a brand-new global partnership with Virgin Music Group.
The single, co-written by Stewart alongside Phil Cook and Trey Campbell, dives deep into the emotional turmoil of longing for someone you know isn’t right for you. “I wrote ‘Here Again’ for all those late nights when you’re lying awake and missing someone you once had, even though deep down you know they aren’t right for you in the end,” Alexander shares. The official music video brings that ache to life, visually echoing the emotional weight of loss and the feeling of drowning in what could’ve been. “Visually, I wanted to create something that felt like a reflection of emotionally drowning and ultimately hitting rock bottom in my own despair,” He says.
This moment marks a major milestone is Stewart’s career. In addition to partnering with Virgin Music Group, where he’ll continue to own his masters, he’s also joined Range Media Partners alongside longtime manager Frank Ho. “This is the first of some very exciting things to come, and I couldn’t be happier to have Jacqueline and everyone else at Virgin Music Group’s support,” Stewart shares.

The project included viral hits like “i wish you cheated,” which racked up over 45 million views on TikTok and led to his late-night TV debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” as well as “if you only knew,” an MTV VMA-nominated track recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the “Songs You Need to Know.”
Following the success of his debut album, Stewart just wrapped up a massive global headlining tour, performing nearly 40 dates across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the U.K. He also landed his first No. 1 on the U.S. Dance Charts with “Wrong Way,” a collaboration with DJ duo Two Friends.
With over a billion streams under his belt, and as he continues to evolve as an artist, there’s no doubt that Alexander Stewart’s journey is just beginning. Fans can expect more honest storytelling and unforgettable music as he embraces this fresh partnership and the promising road ahead.
