Belgian electric industrial acid house band Lords of Acid is hitting the road in the U.S. on the “Praise the Lords Tour” with Carla Harvey as their lead vocalist on the tour and vocals on their next album to be released in 2025. Harvey comes to Lords of Acid back in January 2025. You may have heard of her – in mid-2024, she left the band Butcher Babies to start up her own band, but talks opened up and she accepted an offer to be the lead vocalist to one of her childhood favorite bands, Lords of Acid.
The 27-city “Praise the Lords Tour” starts in San Franciso, California, and ends in Las Vegas, Nevada. Three-quarters of the way through the tour, they stop in El Paso, TX at the Rockhouse Bar & Grill on Montana Ave on June 23, 2025. Their special guests traveling with them is the California-based Little Miss Nasty – pioneers of rock and metal burlesque – and Lucia Cifarelli, former vocalist for KMFDM, now working on her solo career.
Lords of Acid will have an album released later this year; Lucia Cifarelli released a new solo album back in Oct 2024, and Little Missy Nasty has many videos on YouTube. Carla Harvey, Lucia Cifarelli and Little Miss Nasty – I have captured their shows separately, so I am hoping to be there for this show at the Rockhouse on June 23, 2025.
