Robin Trower is back with a brand-new album, Come and Find Me, on Provogue. To kick things off, he’s shared the lyric video for “I Would Lose My Mind” — a laid-back, bluesy track with serious groove. Scroll down to watch.

Even in his 80s, Trower’s still got the creative buzz. It all starts the same way: a road-worn Strat, revved-up Marshall amp, and his fingers working the fretboard until something magical clicks.

“People say I’m driven — I just love doing it,” he says. With nearly 30 solo records under his belt (plus team-ups with legends like Jack Bruce and Bryan Ferry), he’s clearly still inspired. “I play guitar every day and just through messing around, ideas happen. I can never feel the songs coming. But all of a sudden, you get a sliver of an idea and you think, ‘Oh, what’s this… ?’”

That signature Trower vibe is all over “I Would Lose My Mind” — smooth, soulful, and packed with feeling.
