Legendary post-punk artist Peter Murphy returns today with the release of Silver Shade, his highly anticipated tenth studio album, available now via Metropolis Records on 2xLP, CD, and all digital platforms. Produced by Youth (Pink Floyd, Killing Joke, Paul McCartney), the record is being hailed as one of Murphy’s finest works to date, a testament to his enduring creative fire and emotional depth.
Majestic, ornate, and unapologetically bold, Silver Shade brings together a star-studded cast—Trent Reznor, Boy George, Justin Chancellor and Danny Carey of Tool—for a sweeping cinematic journey through synth-punk textures and profound personal reflection.

The title track sees Murphy once again joined by Reznor, with Danny Carey on drums, creating an immersive, haunting centerpiece.
