Metalcore’s most horrifying act Ice Nine Kills has dropped a live version of their hit single “A Work of Art,” accompanied by a video filmed at their sold-out headlining gig at the John Cain Arena in Melbourne, Australia.
The single, which features Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down, debuted at No, 3 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs and remains on the chart 18 weeks in, currently sitting at over 35 million streams. It was also featured in 2024 blockbuster “Terrifier 3,” marking a milestone for the infamously horror-inspired band. The song has all the makings of an INK classic, with frontman Spencer Charnas’ commanding presence prevailing all throughout the melodic chorus, brutal breakdowns, and of course, film reference-filled lyrics. The feature from the legendary SOAD bassist brings a fresh take to their instantly-recognizable sound. The live video, directed by Jensen Noen with effects by Christopher Nelson, showcases the band’s powerful performance and a bloody appearance by “Terrifier’s” iconic villain Art the Clown.
Ice Nine Kills are bringing their theatrical live shows to “Psychos” across the U.S. this spring and summer on their double-feature “***Silver Scream-A-Thon***” tour. With two nights in each city, the band are celebrating their acclaimed album The Silver Scream and its sequel Welcome to Horrorwood, playing the records in full at every stop. The duology of albums has solidified their status as metal boundary-pushers, with their blend of catchy, memorable melodies and heavy metallic riffs backing horror movie-themed lyrics and immersive, meticulously crafted live performances.
The band is also continuing their support of Metallica’s massive stadium shows on the “M72 World Tour,” as well as making appearances at Sonic Temple Festival and Vans Warped Tour.
