Dropkick Murphys to Headline D-Day Rally for Veterans on the National Mall

In a powerful show of solidarity, Dropkick Murphys will headline the Unite for Veterans, Unite for America rally on June 6, 2025 — the anniversary of D-Day — bringing their Celtic-punk voice to the National Mall in support of veterans protesting cuts to the VA and federal workforce.

Set against the historic backdrop of the Washington Monument and WWII Memorial, the rally will unite veterans, union allies, and supporters to stand against privatization efforts and threats to earned benefits. Nearly one-third of the federal workforce is made up of veterans — and they’re calling for action, not lip service.

Frontman Ken Casey shared: “It will be a privilege to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with veterans on the anniversary of D-Day to raise our voices in defense of their jobs, their health care, and their dignity.”

Organizer and Army vet Will Attig added: “We couldn’t ask for a better partner. Their music has long been a soundtrack for resolve and resilience — veterans know the difference between patriotism and empty platitudes.”

The rally is nonpartisan, veteran-led, and aimed at protecting the systems that serve those who’ve served.
