THE HAUNTED drops music video for explosive new single, “In Fire Reborn.”

Swedish thrash titans THE HAUNTED are back with a vengeance, blazing toward the release of their highly anticipated tenth studio album, Songs of Last Resort, landing globally on May 30, 2025, via longtime label Century Media Records. To fuel the fire, the band has unleashed their scorching new single, “In Fire Reborn,” accompanied by a gripping music video directed by Patric Ullaeus (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir).
Frontman Marco Aro shares, “This is the second single off Songs of Last Resort. It’s called ‘In Fire Reborn,’ and it brings that classic THE HAUNTED vibe with the aggression dialed all the way up… just in case the last single didn’t make that clear!”
Guitarist Jensen adds, “This one’s a signature THE HAUNTED track with a 6/8 beat. I wrote the intro, verses, and outro, but Jonas really brought it to life when he crafted the chorus. I think it has all the makings of a fan favorite—it’s already one of ours. Lyrically, like ‘Warhead,’ it explores themes of war, but this time through a soldier’s eyes.”
The band’s previously released video for the album opener, “Warhead,” making “In Fire Reborn” the second teaser of the full length impending.
Songs of Last Resort was recorded by Oscar Nilsson at Studio Bohus, with main vocals tracked by Björn Strid at The Cellar Studio. The album was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (Kreator, Arch Enemy, Sepultura), and features artwork once again by frequent collaborator Andreas “Diaz” Pettersson.
