Rock en Seine 2025: A five-day celebration of music, art, and culture

From August 20 to 24, Rock en Seine returns to the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, just outside Paris, for one of France’s most iconic summer festivals. The 2025 edition spans five days and promises a vibrant mix of major acts, emerging voices, and artistic experiences that go well beyond music.

An ambitious and eclectic lineup

  • Each day of the festival offers a different sonic palette. Wednesday opens with a bang, featuring theatrical pop sensation Chappell Roan, British favorites London Grammar, and rising act Luvcat. This will be Roan’s only performance in France this year, adding an extra layer of exclusivity.
  • Thursday leans into hip-hop and indie rock, with performances from A$AP Rocky, Vampire Weekend, Doechii, Khruangbin, Barry Can’t Swim, Mk.gee, and Montell Fish.
  • Friday brings a blend of electronic textures and atmospheric pop, with Anyma, Aurora, Caribou, Empire of the Sun, Marc Rebillet, and The Good Neighbours.
  • Saturday belongs to the electronic and soul-infused crowd, with Justice, Jamie xx, Jorja Smith, Dabeull, and Luidji all set to perform.
  • On Sunday, the final day, rock takes center stage. Queens of the Stone Age headline alongside Fontaines D.C., Last Train, Stereophonics, Wallows, Kneecap, and Sharon Van Etten.

More than music: art, food, and eco-conscious creativity

Rock en Seine 2025 is curating experiences that bring people together through more than just sound.

  • The festival’s eco-responsible village will host interactive workshops on recycling, sustainable practices, and even DIY instrument-making. There’s also a large outdoor art exhibit where contemporary installations explore the relationship between music, nature, and visual art.
  • The food lineup is curated too: chefs like Valentin Raffali and Louise Bourrat will serve up dishes inspired by the performing artists. There’s even a “Food Band” concept that connects flavors and musical identities.
  • For families, the Mini Rock en Seine area offers music discovery workshops and performances tailored to younger audiences.
