Osiah have long pushed beyond the confines of the deathcore label and continue to do so with their crushing breakdowns, jarring detuned guitars, chaotic tempo shifts, and a vocal performance that veers from piercing screams to cavernous gutturals.
The band quickly cemented their place at the forefront of the U.K. deathcore scene with their debut full-length, Terror Firma, in 2016 via Siege Music and continued their momentum signing to Unique Leader Records in 2018. The subsequent album releases, Kingdom of Lies (2019) and Loss (2021), showcased their evolution in both technicality and emotional depth.
Their most recent album, Kairos, dropped in 2023 to critical acclaim and features a personal favorite, “Hues Refract,” that has guitarist Chris Keepin on vocals—highlighting the band’s fearless approach to switching up the norm.
If this taste of Osiah leaves you wanting more, fans won’t have to wait too long—new music is on the horizon later this year.
Osiah is:
Ricky Lee Roper – Vocals
Chris Keepin – Guitar
Andy Mallaby – Guitar
