SZA launches NOT BEAUTY with pop-ups across tour

Grammy-winning vocalist and musician SZA launched NOT BEAUTY. The high-quality functional brand will debut with the release of three lip glosses, available only at pop-up experiences across the “Grand National Tour” with Kendrick Lamar. The brand is cruelty-free and vegan, a representation of SZA’s signature blend of nature, art, and her carefree approach to beauty.

NOT BEAUTY celebrates authenticity and individuality, inspiring confidence in its wearers. By embracing natural elements and focusing on inclusivity, SZA created a planet-conscious line that also empowers other beauty novices. The packaging features a clever wood grain design and a clear ‘NOT’ text window to showcase the shade of the gloss inside. The texture and aesthetics blend raw and expressive elements with a touch of femininity.

“NOT BEAUTY wasn’t about me trying to enter the beauty market, it’s about me filling a need, it’s about me needing something that lasted as long as my show, as long as my conversation, as long as my date,” SZA shared in a press release.

The first three shades NOT BEAUTY will release are “Flesh,” “Strawberry Jelly,” and “Quartz.” The full lineup will include lip stains, lip liners, and lip creams, completing her infamous layered lip combinations. These glosses are non-sticky and add moisture to the lips, keeping a fuller, voluminous look.
