Countdown to Summerfest 2025 begins: A music lover’s paradise

Summerfest 2025 is rapidly approaching, and I’m definitely stoked to see some of the artists on this year’s lineup. My first time going to this music festival was in 2022—but it was only to the amphitheater for “Hella Mega Tour” and the Jonas Brothers. It wasn’t until 2023 that I experienced the full festival for the first time.

It’s undeniably busy, but there’s such a variety of activities to do there that nine days doesn’t feel like enough to enjoy it all.

2025 has such a massive lineup, with a decent mix of genres that will make choosing between overlapping sets a challenge. I’m pumped for it—not just because of the music, but also because Summerfest means better weather. Right now, we’re still stuck in the 30s, and I’d like it to be warmer than that right now. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of wearing a winter jacket (I run cold so if it’s even remotely a little chilly, I’m probably freezing).

As for the amphitheater headliners, I’m not overly impressed—but that’s just my personal taste. The Killers will likely put on a great show, as usual, and they’re definitely an artist I’d like to see live. That said, tickets aren’t cheap, which the finances is not something I’m currently flushed with right now. Nonetheless, amphitheater tickets or not, Summerfest offers unforgettable experiences for any type of ticketholder, ensuring the best fan experience for every demographic.

And if you’re on the fence about amphitheater tickets—I suggest keeping an eye out for the promo days to be announced, so you can see how they align with the artists you want to see. For me, standouts include The Maine, Jinjer, Mayday Parade, Aly & AJ, and so many others. Of course, there are also the artists that sound like they’d be fun to see, such asThe Saxsquatch. If you’ve never heard of him, he’s literally in a sasquatch suit and plays a saxophone. Who wouldn’t want to see that? It sounds rad! There’s also a huge variety of country artists this year, from Gavin Adcock to Austin Snell.

Hit up the Summerfest website for the full lineup, stage times, dates, and more exclusive information. I’m sure even more will be announced in the next few months. Who knows?

Countdown those days to Summerfest 2025 because it’s coming…
