After months of anticipation, the wait is finally over: a new era of Thornhill is coming.

Last year was jam-packed for the Australian heavy metal group, complete with two North American tours – one supporting Silent Planet and one supporting Northlane – and a European/U.K. tour supporting Polaris. However, this year is shaping up to be even bigger and better for Thornhill, starting with the announcement of their brand new album, “Bodies.”

“Bodies,” the band’s third full-length album, is set to release on April 4, 2025, through UNFD. The full tracklist for the album includes:

In celebration of their new album, the band has also released the music video for their latest single, “Silver Swarm.” According to Thornhill vocalist Jacob Charlton, this track aims to be a visual and sonic representation of mixed feelings associated with toxic relationships.

“The track vividly captures the experience of being ensnared in an intense, destructive relationship, where one is both irresistibly drawn to and desperately repelled by the manipulator’s influence,” Charlton said. “With its dynamic shifts in tone and intensity, the song mirrors the chaotic push and pull of such a relationship, oscillating between fear, confusion, and moments of clarity. It’s a haunting portrayal of the internal conflict that arises when love, control, and toxicity become entangled, leaving the listener to confront the complexity of being trapped in something both harmful and compelling.” 

But that’s not all Thornhill has in store. For the first time ever, the band will be playing shows across the U.S. and Canada on their own headlining tour this spring, with support from AVOID, Ocean Grove and Banks Arcade.
