On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Sueco made his 13th stop on the Attempted Lovers tour at the Ace Of Spades in Sacramento, California. Waiting for the doors to open, the line wrapped around the block with fans of all ages. With this many people here so early, especially on a Tuesday night, you know you’re in for one hell of a show. And, to nobody’s surprise, Sueco delivered nothing short of what some would call a legendary performance.
From the second he stepped on stage, Sueco was at 100%, but still managed to bring more and more energy as the show went on. Performing whilst jumping and dancing around the stage may make it difficult for some performers to sing, but he had no problem with it at all. Sueco came out dressed in all red, head to toe, and started with one of his most popular songs off of his new album, Attempted Lover, called “Bathroom Floor.” He released Attempted Lover in mid July of this year, with another hit, “Outta My Head,” already getting more than 8.1 million streams.
Sueco has done it all, from rap, to pop, to pop punk, and has been very successful in each genre. Having almost 7.7 million followers on Tik Tok, Sueco uses his large social media presence to promote his new releases, continually growing his following. In 2019, at the height of the rise of Tik Tok’s popularity, Sueco released the song “Fast.” This song blew up, with people from all demographics using it in their videos. Since then, he has released hit after hit and has established the following he has today.
During the show, Sueco mentioned that the last time he was in Sacramento he had not even half of the people he had that night there. Doubling the amount of attendees in such a short amount of time really says something about the newer music he is releasing. He made sure to tell his fans how thankful he was that they all took time out of their week to come and see him, some being their second time, and even more being their first time. You could tell that seeing new faces meant a lot to him and motivated the rest of the set even more.
Sueco performed like he owned the stage, belting every note, and never missing a beat. From the first song to the very last song, he kept his fans captivated, constantly interacting with them, and making them feel seen, which not all artists are able to do. Sueco is a genuine performer, who you can tell really cares about his music, but more importantly, who cares about his fans. Something special happened that night, and everyone there could feel it. Sueco left a big impact on his fans that will not be forgotten.
